what a week!

well that was a crazy one! we had ghettoblaster at q bar on saturday night, plenty of drinks, lots of art, and some great tunes. photos and videos of the night and the setup will be going up as we have time to process them, but if you were there you would know how much fun was had!

qwux also opened his month long residency at packspace, a new art space inside the woolpack hotel in surry hills, with a nice low key event with some wine, pear cider and rad kids. his poster collection will be hanging around the pub until the start of may, so head on over and see it with some beverages.

anyway, submissions for our book have closed (unless you have the special password from the weekend), but that doesnt mean you cant get involved with our project! we are all about helping artists find their feet, so we are launching a digital magazine soon that will showcase emerging and student artists, and we want to see your work for it. it will be monthly, and available as a high quality pdf (we might print some, see how we go hey).

we are also trying to secure a nice little group show with some customised toys… so scroll down and read our callouts!!!

rah collective magazine

at the moment, we are preparing our very first issue of a digital publication, aimed at mobile devices, to be a nice little art magazine, with lots of pretty pictures, interactive galleries and information about artists.

if you want to get involved with the magazine, please email us, at eek(at)rahcollective.com with some images and information about yourself. we are working on a standardised interview format, but we havent sorted it out yet, but we will send it through as soon as it is done.

sydney exhibition

we are also planning a show in sydney, and we cant be any more specific then that for the time being. however, taking part in the show may involve customising some kind of toy…. interested?? email eek(at)rahcollective.comwith images and some info about yourself…
